Wetaskiwin Health Foundation Youth Board AED Presentation
Wetaskiwin Outreach at C.B. McMurdo is grateful to the Youth Board of the Wetaskiwin Health Foundation for their generous donation of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) to our site. The Wetaskiwin Health Foundation Youth Board presented the AED to Mr. Meyers prior to their April 24 meeting.
Over the course of the past year-and-a-half, our site has grown substantially. We now offer Junior High and CASA programming in addition to our high school programming. In addition, our site is utilized as a meeting place for WRPS curriculum, instruction, and assessment planning for WRPS teachers. Community user groups such as BGC, local sports teams, and parent groups also access our building after school hours. The donation of this device enhances the ability of Wetaskiwin Outreach at C.B. McMurdo to provide a safe and caring environment for all who access our building.
The support of Wetaskiwin Health Foundation truly makes a difference in our school community! When organizations such as this give back to our school community, Wetaskiwin Outreach School at C.B. McMurdo is able to lay the groundwork for future student achievement. Thank you!
