Interested in Becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse in Alberta?

Are you a rural Alberta high school student interested in a rewarding career as Nurse? Have you already started to pursue your nursing education and have questions related next steps-transitioning to practice. Maybe you are already practicing in a rural community and want to learn more about what supports and resources your regulatory body and the Association has to offer!

This is your opportunity to learn more from the Alberta Nursing Colleges - The College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA), the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA), and the Alberta Association of Nurses (AAN)!

You might have questions like:
- What is a licensing exam, and when do I have to write it?
- What does it mean to be a regulated professional?
- What is a regulatory body/association and how do they support my professional practice?
- What supports and other resources do the CLPNA/CRNA, and the AAN offer their members?
